Conference
Since 2007, the IPSCC has brought PhD students together from leading cancer research institutes across Europe.
Its scope runs the full spectrum of cancer research, from basic and translational science through to clinical and epidemiological work, on the principle that every part of that spectrum helps us understand the disease and improve treatment for patients.
The conference is organised by students, for students: every talk, poster, and workshop comes from a researcher still doing their PhD. It is a joint meeting for PhD students from these participating institutes:

Short platform presentations from International PhD Students selected from submitted abstracts.
A small number of invited speakers with established careers, chosen by the student committee.
Hands-on skills sessions organised by PhD researchers that can be applied to your own projects.
The IPSCC is all about networking. We will be running a full social programme across London.
The Venue
The Crick is one of Europe's largest biomedical research institutes under a single roof. It is home to around 1,500 scientists working from fundamental discovery through to the clinic, in a purpose-built home beside King's Cross and St Pancras.
In 2027, the conference is hosted in partnership with the Cancer Research UK City of London Centre - a collaboration between The Francis Crick Institute, University College London, Queen Mary University of London - Barts Cancer Institute, and King's College London, focused on hard-to-treat cancers.
